Two things help merchants choose you on the Supplier Network: a Verified badge, given by the PlatformDTC team after checking your business, and a scorecard, measured from your real orders.
Verification is optional. Your products are listed and sold whether or not you are verified. The badge only helps merchants who look for verified suppliers find and trust you.

Get verified

Open Suppliers and go to Verification. You’ll be asked for:
  • Your business. Your legal business name, and whether you are a manufacturer, a brand owner, a distributor or a wholesaler.
  • Registration. The country your business is registered in and its registration number, for example an EIN or a company number.
  • Addresses. Your registered business address and the address your orders ship from.
  • A contact. A name and phone number our team can reach.
  • Your returns policy. How you handle damaged, defective and returned items.
  • Optional. The year you started and any certifications, such as GMP or ISO.
  • Documents. Your business registration certificate, plus anything else that backs up your application, such as insurance or certificates. Upload PDF, PNG, JPEG or WebP files of up to 10 MB each. Only you and our review team can open them.
Confirm that the information is accurate and send it.

What happens next

A person on the PlatformDTC team reviews every application. You get an email at your support address when they decide:
  • Approved. The Verified badge appears on your supplier profile and on your products in the catalog. Merchants who filter to Verified only will see you.
  • More information needed. The email says what is missing. Update your application under Suppliers → Verification and send it again.
  • Not approved. The email says why. Your products stay listed, and you can apply again when you’re ready.
You can withdraw an application while it is being reviewed. The team can also remove a badge later, for example after repeated late shipments. You’ll get an email saying why, and you can apply again. Our team can also mark individual products as checked. Merchants then see that on those products.

Your scorecard

Merchants see how you perform, measured from your real orders over the last 90 days: Each figure appears only once at least 20 orders stand behind it. Until then, merchants see nothing for it, never an estimate. Your own scorecard under Suppliers shows every figure with the number of orders it is based on, so you can see how close you are. Scorecards update every hour.
The quickest ways to a strong scorecard: set a handling time you can keep, add a tracking number to every shipment, and accept or decline new orders promptly.
