Your store has two product feed links: one for Google Shopping (Google Merchant Center, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns) and one for Facebook & Instagram (a Meta catalog, used by Advantage+ catalog ads and shops). Each link always lists your live products — names, descriptions, photos, prices, sale prices, stock and every option such as size and colour — and links each one to its page in your store, on your own domain when you have one. Find them in Settings → Sales channels → Product feeds.

Facebook & Instagram

Click Connect to Facebook catalog. PlatformDTC makes a product catalog in the business portfolio that owns your Facebook ad account, has it read your link every hour, and links your store’s pixel to it so catalog ads can show people the products they looked at. Nothing is spent and shoppers see nothing until you run an ad. If you connected Facebook before October 2026, you are asked to reconnect Facebook once (Settings → Integrations) so the connection may manage catalogs. Prefer to do it by hand? Copy the Facebook & Instagram link, then in Meta Commerce Manager go to Catalog → Data sources → Data feed → Scheduled feed, paste it and choose to update every hour.

Google Shopping

  1. Open Google Merchant Center and sign in.
  2. Go to Products → Add products → Add products from a file.
  3. Choose Add a file link, paste your Google Shopping link and set it to fetch daily.
  4. Make sure your store’s web address is verified and claimed under Settings → Business info.

Products that are left out

A product is only listed when it can be shown honestly. The card lists every product left out and why: After fixing products, click Update now (the feeds also update by themselves within the hour). Products are listed with the barcode (GTIN) only when it is a valid one; without one, Google is told the product has none, which is right for your own brand.

Prices and currencies

Prices are in your store currency — or in your worldwide market’s currency if you sell in one currency everywhere (see Markets). To list prices for one country’s market, add ?country= and the two-letter country code to the link, e.g. …/google.xml?country=DE, and use it for that country in Merchant Center. Anyone with a link can read your product list (the same products your store shows publicly). If a link was shared by mistake, click Get new links: the old links stop working at once, a connected Facebook catalog is moved to the new link for you, and you paste the new Google link into Merchant Center.

For developers and AI agents

Agents connected to your store can read the feeds with dtc_get_product_feeds, rebuild them with dtc_rebuild_product_feed, and connect the Facebook catalog with dtc_connect_meta_catalog. See the tool catalog.
