AdLibrarySpy is our free tool for finding winning products and the stores and ads behind them. It and PlatformDTC share one account: the email address you use on AdLibrarySpy is your PlatformDTC sign-in.

From a winning product to your own store

  1. On AdLibrarySpy, press Add to my store on any product: in Products, Daily winners, Offers, a store’s page or an ad. On a store’s page, Add their best sellers lets you tick up to 10 at once. The AdLibrarySpy browser extension has the same button on Shopify product pages.
  2. You stay on the page. The button shows Added to your store. Your first one makes the store.
  3. Open My store in AdLibrarySpy. Check each product, set your price, then press Publish.
PlatformDTC copies each product with its photos, options and price into your store as a draft. Drafts never show to shoppers. Publish lists exactly what will go live first. The first store is the same one a PlatformDTC sign-up gets: your store, its starter theme and your account balance. Until then your account is only a sign-in, with nothing set up.

Before you publish

  • Prices start at the price the product had where you found it. Change them on My store.
  • Photos and words come from the store you found the product on. Make sure they are yours to use, or change them on PlatformDTC (Manage on PlatformDTC) before you publish.
  • Remove any draft you don’t want. Live products are managed on PlatformDTC.

If something goes wrong

  • A product can’t be copied (for example, the store doesn’t share it): AdLibrarySpy says why.
  • Pressing twice never adds a product twice, and you always have one store.

How the one-click sign-in works

The button signs you in with a link that works once, for 60 seconds, and only for your own account. If it has expired (for example you went back and opened an old tab), PlatformDTC asks you to sign in instead. Use the same email address and you reach the same account. See Sign in to PlatformDTC.
Already had a PlatformDTC account with the same email address? AdLibrarySpy uses that one. Your stores and settings don’t change.

Your email address and your data

  • Change your email address in AdLibrarySpy under Settings → Account. After both your old and new inbox confirm it, your PlatformDTC sign-in address changes too.
  • AdLibrarySpy keeps its own content. Saved items, tracked stores and boards stay in AdLibrarySpy. PlatformDTC receives only your email address, your name and the link that brought you.
  • Privacy. See the PlatformDTC privacy policy (Section 1.5) and AdLibrarySpy’s.
