Nothing changes for shoppers until you click Save. The preview never charges a card, so you can
click through it freely.
The top bar
From left to right:- Exit — leave the editor.
- Sections, Settings and Post-purchase offers — the three panels. Click an icon to open its panel on the left.
- Your store’s checkout name and status. The badge tells you where your work stands:
- Live — the checkout shoppers see matches what is in the editor.
- Unsaved changes — you have edits in the editor that are not saved yet.
- Unpublished changes — you saved a draft that is not on your live checkout yet.
- Not published — your checkout customization has never been published.
- Page picker — switch between Checkout and, under Post purchase, the Thank you page.
- Inspector — when on, clicking the preview selects the element you clicked. Turn it off to use the preview the way a shopper would: type into fields, switch delivery methods, open menus.
- Desktop / mobile preview — see the page at desktop or phone width.
- Undo (⌘Z) and Redo (⇧⌘Z).

- Discard unsaved changes — goes back to your last saved version.
- Save (⌘S) — saves your changes and publishes them to your live checkout.

Thank you page
Hover a row and the matching element is outlined and labelled in the preview. Click a row — or,
with the Inspector on, click the element in the preview — to open its settings on the right.
Add, move and remove blocks

Add a block
Click Add block in the section where you want it. Search the block picker, or scroll it,
and choose a block.

Move it
Drag a block to reorder it within its section, or drop it into another section.

Hide, duplicate or remove it
Click the eye icon to hide a block — its content is kept, so you can show it again later. Use the
block’s … menu to duplicate or remove it.

The inspector
The inspector opens on the right for whatever you select.Delivery and local pickup
Select Delivery in the Sections panel, or click the Delivery section in the preview.- Ship to an address — the standard checkout: address form plus your shipping rates.
- Local pickup — shoppers collect in store, with no shipping address and no shipping charge.
- Pickup locations — add each location’s name, address, ready time and optional pickup instructions.
- Wording — the section heading, the Ship and Pickup button labels, and an optional note above the pickup locations.
Settings
The Settings panel sets your checkout’s branding. It applies to both the checkout and the thank-you page. Use my store brand copies your store’s accent color, background color, body and heading fonts, and logo from your storefront’s brand into the checkout. It only happens when you click it — your checkout is never restyled on its own — and you can adjust anything afterwards, or undo it.Post-purchase offers
The Post-purchase offers panel lists your one-click upsells shown after checkout, with each offer’s status — active, paused or draft. Click New offer to create one, or edit or delete an existing offer. When more than one active offer applies, the higher-priority offer is shown.Save and publish
- Save publishes your changes to your live checkout straight away. The badge changes to Live.
- Save as draft (in the … menu) stores your work without changing what shoppers see. The badge shows Unpublished changes until you save.
- Discard unsaved changes (in the … menu) throws away edits made since your last save.
