Before you import a product from the Supplier Network, two things tell you about the supplier behind it: the Verified badge and the supplier’s scorecard.

The Verified badge

A Verified badge means the PlatformDTC team has checked the supplier’s business: their legal registration, their addresses, a contact person and their returns policy, with documents to back them up. You’ll see the badge next to the supplier’s name in your Catalog and in Suppliers → Network. Some products also say they were checked by PlatformDTC. That means our team looked at that product too.
Suppliers don’t have to be verified to list products. An unverified supplier isn’t a bad supplier: they may simply not have applied yet. Every supplier accepts the Supplier Terms and is responsible for their products’ safety, labelling and compliance.

Show only verified suppliers

Turn on Verified only in your catalog or in Suppliers → Network. You’ll see only products and suppliers the PlatformDTC team has verified. Turn it off to see the whole network again.

Read a scorecard

Each supplier’s scorecard is measured from their real orders over the last 90 days: A figure appears only once at least 20 orders stand behind it, and the scorecard shows how many orders each figure is based on. A new supplier has no scorecard yet. That means there isn’t enough data, not that they perform badly. PlatformDTC never estimates or invents these figures.
If you use your own AI agent with PlatformDTC, it sees the same badge and scorecard, and can search verified suppliers only.
