Set up once
Open Settings → Shipping labels.
Labels are charged to the card in Settings → Billing — the same card as your plan.
Buy a label
- Open the order, then Shipping labels → Buy shipping label (or, on Orders → Fulfill, the row menu’s Buy shipping label).
- Pick a package. Total weight starts from your products’ weights plus the empty package; weigh the packed box and correct it.
- Get rates, choose a service, then Buy label · $X.XX. Nothing is charged before this click.
- Print label opens the 4×6 PDF. Print it on a thermal printer, or on letter paper and trim.
International orders
When the destination country differs from your ship-from country, a customs declaration is required. It is pre-filled from the order: one line per product with quantity, weight and value (line totals in USD). Add the HS code for faster clearance. Orders paid in another currency start with empty values — enter the USD value yourself; we never convert by estimate.Void a label
Void on an unused label asks the carrier to refund it. UPS and FedEx usually confirm at once; USPS can take up to 15 days and only accepts labels that were never scanned (within 30 days). Your card is refunded automatically when the carrier confirms. A scanned label is shown as Void rejected and is not refunded. Voiding does not change the order’s tracking number. For agents
Merchant agents usedtc_shipping_label_order, dtc_shipping_label_rates,
dtc_buy_shipping_label and dtc_void_shipping_label (see
Connect your own agent). Buying spends money: the agent must
send approval_context {"merchant_confirmed": true} after you confirm the carrier, service and
price, and connections that require approval are refused — buy those in the dashboard.
