Buy More, Save MoreIt works like Shopify’s automatic “Amount off products” discount with quantity tiers. Checkout applies it on every payment method (card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Link, Klarna, PayPal and Authorize.Net), and the order summary shows it as its own line under the title you give it.

Tick Order discounts and/or Shipping discounts if discount codes may be used on top. Set

How the discount is worked out
- Quantity counts every eligible item in the cart. Two different dishes from the same collection make “Buy 2”. The highest tier the cart reaches applies.
- Percentage off takes that percent off every eligible item. Amount off each item takes the amount off each eligible item, never below zero.
- Subscribe & save comes off first, then the volume discount, then a discount code.
- One automatic discount per item. If two volume discounts cover the same product, the item gets the one that saves more.
- Discount codes. A code is added on top only when you allowed Order discounts (or Shipping discounts) here and the code itself allows product discounts. Otherwise the shopper gets whichever saves more: a better code replaces the volume discount, and a smaller one is refused with a message saying it can’t be combined.
- Members who get member pricing are charged their member price; the volume discount does not stack with it.
- Subscriptions: the volume discount applies to the first order, not to renewals.
Show the tiers on your product page
In Themes 2, open the product page (or a Featured product section), click Add block and choose Volume discount. It lists the tiers of the volume discount that covers the product being viewed.
The row the chosen quantity reaches is highlighted. When no active volume discount covers the product, the
block shows nothing (in the editor you see a note explaining why).
The cart page and the cart drawer show the saving the cart has reached, under the discount’s title, with the
same amount checkout charges.
