PlatformDTC doesn’t use passwords. There are two ways to sign in, and both also create your account the first time you use them:
  • Continue with Google. One click with the Google account you already use.
  • Email me a sign-in link. Enter your email address and we send you one email with a Sign in button and a 6-digit code.
Go to platformdtc.com and choose one.
  1. Enter your email address and select Email me a sign-in link.
  2. Open the email from Platform DTC <[email protected]>. The subject starts with your code, for example “123456 is your PlatformDTC sign-in code”.
  3. Either:
    • select Sign in in the email, on the device you want to use, or
    • type the 6-digit code into the sign-in window. This is handy when your email is on your phone and you’re signing in on a computer. On most phones the code is offered above the keyboard, so you can fill it with one tap.
The link and the code:
  • work once. After you use either one, both stop working;
  • expire after 15 minutes;
  • are replaced when you ask for another email. Always use the newest one.
If you type the code wrong 5 times, it stops working. Ask for a new email.
New to PlatformDTC? Use Create account on the homepage. You can add a store name there (optional, and you can change it later). Your account and store are created when you use the link or code, so an email address that nobody signs in with never gets an account.

Didn’t get the email?

  • Wait a minute and check your spam or junk folder.
  • Check that the address is spelled correctly. Select Use a different email to fix it.
  • Select Resend email. You can ask again after 30 seconds, and up to 6 times an hour.
  • If we can’t deliver to your address because earlier messages to it bounced, the sign-in window tells you so. Use another address you own, or Continue with Google.
  • Still stuck? Email [email protected] from the address on your account.

Google

Continue with Google signs you in to the PlatformDTC account with the same email address as your Google account. If you don’t have one yet, it’s created. To connect or disconnect Google, go to Settings → Account. Disconnecting Google never locks you out: you can always sign in with an email link to your account’s address.

I used to sign in with a password

Passwords were removed on September 28, 2026. Nothing about your account, stores or data changed. Enter the same email address and select Email me a sign-in link, or continue with Google if it uses the same address. If you were already signed in, you stay signed in.

Command line, agents and apps

These never asked for your password and keep working as before. When they need you to approve access, they open PlatformDTC in your browser, where you sign in with Google or an email link:

For developers

POST /api/v1/auth/login, /register, /forgot-password, /reset-password, /change-password and /set-password now return 410 Gone with error_code: PASSWORD_SIGN_IN_REMOVED. Use the Agent Gateway with a scoped API key for automation, not a merchant session.
