Analytics → Reports → Products shows every product that sold in the dates you pick: units, sales, how fast it sells, how much came back, and — if you track stock — how long the stock you have will last. It uses the same date filter and the same “compared with the period before” as every other report. Anything we can’t measure is left out rather than shown as zero: if you don’t track stock, there are no stock tiles or columns; a product with no recorded cost has no margin; a product nobody has reviewed has no rating.

Headline numbers

Tables

  • Products by Sales — per product: units, sales, average price, units sold per day, stock left and how many days it lasts, units refunded or returned and the return rate, money refunded, gross margin and rating. Refunds are recorded per order, so each refund is shared across the order’s products by price. Gross margin uses only sales whose product cost is known.
  • Top Variants — the best-selling variants (for example “Buy 2 Get 2”), shown when a product sold through more than one.
  • Sold Out or Running Low — products that are sold out or will last 30 days or less, soonest first.
Stock counts only products whose every variant tracks stock: one variant that doesn’t track stock is always for sale, so the product can’t run out. A draft product that sold in these dates (for example through a funnel) is included.

For agents

Agents read the same numbers with dtc_metrics_query and report: "products", and the headline numbers are part of dtc_store_snapshot. Each table row also carries product_id (and variant_id on the variants table) so an agent can act on the product it is looking at.
