A delivery date tells a shopper, on the product page, when an order placed now will reach them:
🚚 Deliver to: United States ▾
Order today, get it as early as: October 6 – 10
The dates come from four things you set once, the way Shopify’s delivery promise works: The earliest date is processing minimum + transit minimum business days after the day processing starts, and the latest is processing maximum + transit maximum. Processing starts today when today is a business day and it is before your cutoff, otherwise on the next business day.

Set your delivery dates

1

Open Shipping & Sales

In the dashboard go to Settings → Shipping & Sales. The Delivery dates card is below the platform checkout options.
2

Enter processing time and business days

Enter the minimum and maximum processing days, pick your business days (Monday to Friday is pre-selected), and your time zone. Turn on Order cutoff if orders placed late in the day ship a day later.
3

Add shipping zones

Name a zone (for example “United States”), choose its countries and enter the minimum and maximum transit days. Add a zone for each group of countries with a different transit time. Turn on Rest of the world to give every other country one transit time.
4

Check the preview and save

The card previews what a shopper in your first zone sees right now. Click Save.
5

Add the block to your product page

In Themes 2, open the Product page template (or a page with a Featured product section), click Add block and choose Delivery estimate. You can change its labels, long or short month names, the delivery icon and the text style.

What shoppers see

  • Their country is picked for them. The block starts with the country the shopper is browsing from (or their browser’s region), and they can change it in the Deliver to list. Their choice is remembered on that device.
  • Only countries you ship to are listed. With Rest of the world off, the list holds only the countries in your zones.
  • Dates are worked out in the shopper’s browser, so a page published last week still shows today’s dates, and a page left open moves past your cutoff on time.
Nothing is shown when there is nothing true to show. The block is hidden while delivery dates are not set or are switched off, and for a shopper whose country you do not ship to. It never shows a made-up date.

Silent Scale “Estimated shipping”

Silent Scale’s Estimated shipping block normally uses the minimum and maximum days typed into the block. Leave both fields empty and it uses your delivery dates instead: processing time plus the transit time to the shopper’s country, with your cutoff and business days respected. Its [start_date] and [end_date] placeholders then show the earliest and latest delivery day.

For developers

The storefront reads a public, cacheable projection of the settings:
data is null when the store shows no delivery dates. transit is keyed by ISO 3166 country code; other applies to every listed country without its own entry. business_days are ISO weekdays (1 = Monday … 7 = Sunday). The response is cacheable for five minutes.
