Start a campaign
- Open Marketing → Content Rewards. Your first
campaign is already filled in from your store:
- Products: your 3 best sellers of the last 30 days (your newest products when nothing has sold yet), with their real photos.
- What to post about: written from those products’ own names and descriptions, with your store link.
- Must be in the caption: your store’s hashtag, made from its name (for example
#peakshilajit). - Where: TikTok and YouTube. Pay: $1.00 per 1,000 views, up to $100.00 a post. Last day: 30 days from today. Amounts are in your store’s currency.
- Check the Total budget (we suggest $200.00) and select Start campaign. It’s live on the creator board right away. Share its page with creators you know — Public page on the campaign opens it.
How a post earns
- We read each post’s public view count every 6 hours for 14 days after it is sent.
- A post earns nothing until you approve it. Then it earns your pay for every full 1,000 views — including the views it had before you approved — up to the most one post can earn.
- Earnings stop when the campaign’s budget is used up. The campaign then ends by itself.
- Pausing stops new creators and new posts; approved posts keep counting for their 14 days. Ending works the same way.
- Declining a post stops it earning. Anything it earned that you haven’t paid goes back to your budget. Tick Don’t take posts from this creator again to block them from your campaigns.

Paying creators
Your budget is a limit, not a deposit — PlatformDTC doesn’t hold or charge this money. Pay creators yourself (PayPal, bank transfer), then open Creators, select Record payment and say how you paid. The amount is always what they’re owed at that moment. They get an email, and their page shows it as paid. Creators tell you where to be paid on their page at platformdtc.com/rewards/me.Platforms
TikTok and YouTube (videos and Shorts). Instagram and X aren’t included: neither shows an exact view count publicly, and paying on an estimate wouldn’t be fair to you or the creator.Emails
Creators get an email when you approve or decline their post and when you record a payment. You get an email each time a new post arrives for review. For developers
Agents usedtc_list_content_campaigns, dtc_get_content_campaign, dtc_get_content_campaign_draft
(GET /content-rewards/campaigns/draft: the campaign above, ready to show the merchant),
dtc_create_content_campaign ({"budget_cents": 20000} alone starts the draft; any field you send replaces
the draft’s, and "ends_at": "" means no last day),
dtc_update_content_campaign, dtc_list_content_posts, dtc_approve_content_post,
dtc_reject_content_post, dtc_list_content_creators and dtc_record_content_payout (/content-rewards/*
on the Agent Gateway, marketing:read / marketing:write). Starting a campaign, raising its budget
or running it again, approving a post and recording a payment wait for the merchant’s approval
(job kinds content_reward.campaign_create, content_reward.campaign_update, content_reward.approve,
content_reward.mark_paid). See the tool catalog.
