Made with PlatformDTC is a public page of real stores that run on PlatformDTC: platformdtc.com/made-with. Every store there chose to be shown, and every result on it was measured by PlatformDTC from the store’s own orders. Nobody can type a number in. Being listed puts your store in front of people who are deciding where to build theirs, and gives your store its own page with your story, your products and a link to your shop. Turn it on from Settings → Showcase, or go straight to platformdtc.com/setting/showcase.
The showcase is off until you turn it on. Turning it off takes your store off the page at once.

Turn it on

Turn on Show my store in the PlatformDTC showcase. That’s all. The first time, your store is shown with its name, logo, a link to it, photos of your products and its results as ranges, like “1,000+” orders or “$10K+” in sales. Its name and one-liner come from your store, and its category is picked from what you sell. We check your store straight away and the screen tells you whether it is shown, or what is missing. To change what is shown, open Change details:
  • What to show: Just my store (no results), or My store and its results. Turn on Show exact numbers if you want the real figures instead of ranges. We ask you to confirm first, because anyone can see them.
  • How your store reads: a store name (if you want something other than your store’s name), one line about your store, a short story for your store’s page, and a category. Empty fields are left out.
The Preview at the bottom of the screen shows exactly what visitors see.

Which stores are shown

Your store is shown while all of these are true. We check every 6 hours. If your store stops meeting a rule, it comes off the page at the next check and the setting screen says why. Fix it and your store comes back at the following check. If we can’t check a store for 3 days, it is taken off the page until we can.

The results

Results are measured from your paid online orders: orders placed on your store. Point of Sale sales, subscription renewals and test orders are not counted. With Show exact numbers on, orders and sales show as the real figures. Growth and returning buyers are always rounded.

For developers

Your agent can read and change this setting:
  • dtc_get_showcase: GET /online_store/showcase. Whether the store is shown, why not (reasons, in plain words), and a preview of exactly what visitors see. Scope read_content.
  • dtc_update_showcase: PUT /online_store/showcase with any of enabled, show_results, exact_numbers, display_name, tagline, story and category. {"enabled": true} alone is enough: the first turn-on shows results as ranges (unless show_results is sent false) and picks a category when none was chosen. Scope write_content. Ask the merchant before turning it on or showing exact numbers.
The public page reads GET /api/v1/shop/showcase and GET /api/v1/shop/showcase/{slug}. Both need no login.
